About Us

We are a family-owned business based in Melbourne, Australia. Which is Australia’s largest city with a population of over 5 million people.

The Principals of UKAUS Trade are Bill (Charles) and Sheila Ellerton. They both grew up in Manchester and Stockport, England, met in Australia, and have lived here for many years.
Bill and Sheila have three adult children and five wonderful grandchildren. Their eldest, Aussie born, lives in England, so they try to get back there as often as they can.
They both have a love for the country where they grew up, and for the country they have made their home. They have considerable business experience, some of which is outlined below with some specific examples shown on our Case Studies page.

Bill and Sheila have assisted customers across a very wide range of business sectors.
Bill started his career in the Telecommunications sector, where he was involved with the latest digital and fibre optic technologies. He subsequently worked for a Japanese point-of-sale technology company and then held senior roles at international Information Technology and Industrial Automation companies across Australia and New Zealand.
